DESCRIPTION:The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) will host its t
 wenty-fourth informational meeting regarding the construction of the Marin
 e Commerce Terminal in New Bedford.  The Terminal is a multi-purpose faci
 lity designed to support the construction\, assembly and deployment of off
 shore wind projects\, as well as handle bulk\, break-bulk\, container and 
 large specialty marine cargo.  As part of construction\, the project incl
 udes the dredging and remediation of approximately 250\,000 cubic yards of
  contaminated sediment from New Bedford Harbor and the clean-up of approxi
 mately 18\,000 tons of contaminated soils from the Terminal’s landside.
   The first of its kind in North America\, the Terminal will be engineere
 d to sustain mobile crane loads that rival the highest capacity ports in t
