SUMMARY:Ocean Waves Workshop at the University of New Orleans
DESCRIPTION:On November 17th the University of New Orleans will host a one-
 day Ocean Waves Workshop to provide a forum for scientists\, engineers and
  managers to explore the issues relevant to ocean waves. They are currentl
 y inviting abstract submissions for this event on topics ranging from the 
 use of wave measurements to support alternative energy\, to the developmen
 t of wave modeling frameworks to protect life and save property. Four abst
 racts will be selected for development into full papers for presentation\,
  and all abstracts and papers will be published in a final proceedings fol
