DESCRIPTION:Operations and maintenance (O&amp\;M) costs make up 20-25% of t
 he total lifetime costs of an offshore wind farm\, making O&amp\;M a sign
 ificant industrial sector in its own right. With more and more offshore a
 ssets due to be commissioned\, the technical and commercial challenges of 
 operating projects as well as the potential business opportunities are sta
 rting to receive much greater attention.\n\nO&amp\;M is one of seven knowl
 edge areas the ORE Catapult is focused on to drive down the cost of offsho
 re renewable energy. Recognising this industry issue\, the Catapult's Nati
 onal Renewable Energy Centre in Blyth is hosting a free\, open seminar and
  workshop to discuss the various aspects associated with offshore O&amp\;
 M such as composites and condition monitoring\, coatings and protection an
