DESCRIPTION:The aim of the Round Tables is to foster public-private partner
 ships for financially viable clean energy applications in developing econo
 mies. The ultimate aim of the Round Tables is to identify projects with at
 tractive investment potential\, and to match them with available financing
 . During the Round Tables\, project proposals will be presented and discus
 sed by financial\, technology and policy experts\, led by UNEP and the EEC
 . The best projects identified will then enter a development phase in the 
 selected locations. UNEP will aim to identify both effective financial and
  policy de-risking instruments and ample public and private sector funding
